Emny Johnson, 95, of Walker, Iowa, died Monday, November 17, 2014, at Vinton Lutheran Home, Vinton. Services: 10:30 a.m. Friday, November 21, 2014, at First Christian Church, Center Point, conducted by Rev. Melanie Van Weelden. Family will greet friends from 4-7 p.m. Thursday, November 20, 2014, at Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Center Point. Burial: Center Point Cemetery, Center Point.

Survivors include her son, Marvin (Karen) Johnson of Walker; 10 grandchildren and numerous loved great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; sons-in-law, William Vozenilek and Marvin McArthur, both of Walker.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Loren; two daughters, Dolores Vozenilek and Linda McArthur; and granddaughter, Deanna Holsinger.

Emny was born November 3, 1919, in Alburnett, Iowa, daughter of Mary (Ludwick) Kilell. She attended high school in Cedar Rapids. Emny worked at the family grocery store and as a nanny. On October 15, 1938, she married Loren Johnson in Newton, Iowa. She then worked for Center Point Canning factory and farmed with her husband and raised dairy cattle. Emny was a member of the First Christian Church, CWF and an original member of the Plain Park County Club. She enjoyed sewing, embroidering and cooking.
