Lamont leads VS with 3rd place finish at S. Tama Invitational

Brandi Gerber (7th), Rachel Tandy (10th) and Lillie Lamont, (3rd) led VS to third in team scoring at the Souith Tama Invitational. Lillie Lamont's 43-42-85 in Saturday's South Tama Invitational earned her a third place finish in individual scoring, as she led Vinton-Shellsburg's Vikettes to third place in team scoring.

VSMS boys second in home meet

The Vinton-Shellsburg Middle School 7th and 8th grade boys track teams both finished second to West Delaware in Tuesday's Little Viking Relays. Winners for 8th grade VS athletes included: Max Vasquez, 100m; Alontae Wilson, 200m and high jump; Logan Zearley, 100 hurdles.
