A great night for VSU Swimming! --VSU was 2nd out of 5 teams competing (Vinton-Shellsburg-Union, Grinnell, Oskaloosa, Williamsburg, and East Des Moines), losing only to Des Moines East --VSU won 8 of the 11 swimming events, came in 2nd in 2 of the other events --Personal best times were dropped in 13 events --Arabella Shepard improved the school record (which she previously held) in the 200 Freestyle by 2 seconds, and swam a monster 50 freestyle split in the sprint relay to come from behind for the win.
