Super Dollar Store remains open, for now; no closing date set

Brooke Sanford spent some time this week opening boxes at the Vinton Dollar Store and setting out items for sale for the second major holiday of 2018. "They told us to put out the Valentine's Day items," said Sanford, as she opened boxes full of heart-shaped decorations.

After nearly two decades of providing items for $1 ech to local customers, The Super Dollar store in Vinton will close, but employees who spoke to Vinton Today said the company representatives who informed them of the closing did not give a closing date.
