The only disappointment in seeing 'Get Low:' Empty seats at Palace
A few weeks ago, Charles Osgood and his CBS Sunday Morning crew explored the decline in attendance at movie theaters across the United States.
The solution to that situation is on the Palace screen this week: If Hollywood wants more people to come to the movies, they will make more movies like "Get Low."
I had never even heard of "Get Low" until I went to the Palace to take photos of the renovation and installation of the new screen.

From the Front Row of the Balcony: 'Eclipse' unites teens, vampires & werewolves
Michael Feldman, the comedian on the National Public Radio’s What D’Ya Know program, said the big question that the “Twilight” saga raises is this: Is there a difference between teenagers and vampires?
Yes, I thought, as I listened to the radio show. Vampires are much easier on the family car.
Until, that is, I saw the latest “Twilight” movie, and realized I was wrong.
At last: 'Twilight' comes to the Palace
