Ridley Scott’s “Exodus: Gods and Kings” in 3D, reimaging the classic Biblical story of Moses, plays Friday, January 16 through Thursday, January 22 at 7 pm every night, and Monday, January 19 at 2 pm.

January has been busy, busy, AND challenging at the theatre, with awesome movies, frigid temps, and furnace issues. However, thanks to the collaborative efforts of Elwick Electric and our Palace management staff and volunteers, we were only down one night, and your favorite seat is once again as HOT as the popcorn! Just ask Gerald, who knows I NEVER say this (except for that one time he surprised me with cruise tickets), but I’m actually looking forward to February! Bring on the snow and cold, Mother Nature, we’ve got sizzling HOT movies to keep us warm.

Waddling into the Palace for 90 minutes of laugh-out-loud fun, “Penguins of Madagascar” runs Friday, January 9 through Thursday, January 15 at 7 pm, Saturday, January 10 at 4 pm, and Monday, January 12 at 2 pm.

Auditions for ACT I’s upcoming production of Dates with a Nut, written by Thomas P. Johnson and Meg Merckens, will be held Sunday, January 11 at 2:00 pm at the ACT I Centre, 906 E.

The Palace rings in the New Year with “Mockingjay, Part 1,” the latest installment in the “Hunger Games” series. Whether Team Peeta or a faithful Team Gale fan like me – we all know Gale is Katniss’ true love, a tragic unrecognized victim of the Games – be sure to reserve your seats or line up early!  We’ve already sold 25 tickets for opening night.

“Big Hero 6” is Disney Animation Studio’s latest and greatest. This action-packed comedy-adventure plays the Palace Friday, December 26 through Thursday, January 1 at 7 pm, Friday, Saturday, and Wednesday at 4 pm, and Sunday and Monday at 2 pm.
