ORDINANCE #76AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING THE COUNTY SUPERVISOR DISTRICTS AND ELECTION PRECINCTSBE IT ENACTED by the Board of Supervisors of Benton County, Iowa:Section 1. Purpose: The purpose of this ordinance is to establish election precincts and county supervisor districts as the result of the population changes reflected by the 2020 federal decennial census, and in accordance with Iowa Code Sections 331.

Shellsburg among Governor Reynold's $210M in broadband grants

Today, Governor Reynolds and the Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO) announced the latest recipients of the Empower Rural Iowa Broadband Grants Program.    Funding of more than $210M for new broadband infrastructure has been awarded to 160 applicants as part of the latest investment in expanding broadband across the state, announced in October 2021.
