The county conventions on Saturday, March 12th for our next step to the eventual November elections!On Wednesday, I chaired a subcommittee for House File 2069, which is a proposal to increase the registration fees of water vessels such as canoes and kayaks from $12 to $20 every three years.

Work release escape of Ronald Kelly

Ronald Kelly, convicted of Robbery 2nd Degree in Polk County, failed to report back to the Fort Des Moines Correctional facility as required yesterday. Kelly is a 28-year-old Black male, height 5' 9", and weighs 228 pounds. He was admitted to the work release facility on 12/28/2021. Persons with information on Kelly's whereabouts should contact local police.
