Greetings from Under the Golden Dome

Now that the first funnel week is over we have been busy voting on bills, 15 to 20 a day. Usually at the beginning of session the bills we work on are department bills which address mistakes and misinterpretations in the Iowa Code. These are usually unanimous votes and non-controversial. Supplemental State Aid is still in conference committee.

Hi Everybody, My apologies for the delay in communicating, but the last couple of weeks have been a blur. We are in the midst of the funnel to winnow down the number of bills in the system.
