Hello District 84 from the State Capitol

Happy Thursday District 84,We’ve had another busy week at the Capitol with events and legislation.  Discussion over legislation and proposals has also been busy, with the Governor’s AEA changes being the main topic of many Iowans.  While many were quick to criticize the bill, HSB 542, there are some areas that can be addressed.  This bill is not on a fast track to be voted on, will be thoroughly vetted, and will not take away services from students with disabilities.
