LIFESERVE BLOOD CENTER HAS SENT ADDITIONAL BLOOD PRODUCTS TO AREA HOSPITALS FOR PATIENTS IMPACTED BY PERRY HIGH SCHOOL SHOOTING On the morning of Thursday, January 4, 2024, LifeServe Blood Center received requests from area hospitals asking for additional blood products to treat victims impacted by the Perry High School shooting.

Vinton Unlimited announced the Grand Prize winner of their Holiday Lights Punch Card drawing. For the 2023 holiday shopping season, the Grand Prize winner is Andrew Noe! The punch card with Andrew’s name on it was drawn from a total of 9,749 punch cards! The 2023 Holiday Lights Punch Card Grand Prize is valued at almost $1,400!  What: The Benton County Community Foundation is holding their 2023 grant awards celebration.  Why: The Benton County Community Foundation will be awarding over $290,000 in grants to nonprofits and government entities in the areas of arts and culture, community betterment, education and youth development, environment and animal welfare, health and human service.

On Saturday, December 30, 2023, at about 10:24 PM, the Benton County Sheriff’s Office received a 911 call reporting that a 59-year-old female had been shot and was being transported to a local hospital by private vehicle.
