Additional COVID-19 Cases in Iowa

Testing at Iowa’s State Hygienic Laboratory has indicated five additional presumptive positive cases of 2019 novel coronavirus (COVID-19) in Iowa residents, a total of 13 presumptive positive cases.

Kiwanis Pancake Breakfast brings Friends and Neighbors out for a worthy cause

It's an annual tradition to attend the Kiwanis Pancake Breakfast in Vinton. Since 1960 the Kiwanis Club members have rolled up their sleeves, tied on their aprons, grabbed their pancake flippers and fired up the grills to serve pancakes, eggs and sausage to all who walk through the door looking hungry.

BoWood Company opens business in Urbana

The BoWood Company started when Alexa Schirm, who is a food blogger, asked her brother-in-law, TJ Bowen, to do some cutting boards for photoshoots. When people began asking her if they could buy the cutting boards in the photos, her husband Payton and TJ began making cutting boards and other products to sell at Farmer’s Markets and art shows throughout the midwest.
