The Shellsburg Public Library is excited to announce that an ADA-accessible automatic door has been installed to better serve all members of our community.

County pork organizations across the state stepped up in a big way this year for the Pork in the Pantry program. A total of 47 county organizations participated in the program, donating more than 18,000 pounds of pork, totaling almost 75,000 servings to help fight food insecurity in Iowa.

The Vinton Community Foundation Board of Directors has announced the distribution of $49,605.87 in grants to the following non-profit organizations serving the City of Vinton.

The City of Vinton is currently seeking qualified individuals to apply for the position of Parks and Recreation Director.This management-level role requires a dynamic leader to oversee the planning, organization, and direction of the city’s parks and recreation programs.
