BRANDON – Beverly Ann “Bev” Albert, 77, of Brandon, passed away Wednesday, September 11, 2013, at the Vinton Lutheran Home.
Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m. Saturday, September 14, 2013, at the Brandon United Methodist Church with Rev. Lexie Kirkpatrick officiating. Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, September 13, at Van Steenhuyse-Russell Funeral Home in Vinton. Marjorie Amy Smalley
Waterloo - Marjorie Amy Smalley, 82, of Waterloo, died Thursday, September 5 at the Cedar Valley Hospice Home.
She was born February 8, 1931 in Vinton, daughter of Leon and Ruth Avery Byam. She married Richard Smalley May 3, 1951 in Vinton. He died October 13, 1990.
Marjorie was employed as a telephone operator in Vinton and then worked at home taking in laundry and ironing as she raised her children. Joanne A. Sagan
VINTON – Joanne Adelaide Sagan, 78, died Wednesday, September 4, 2013, at the Dennis & Donna Oldorf Hospice House of Mercy in Hiawatha.

Rhonda Sue Skoog, 61, of Marion, formerly of Keystone, died Friday, Aug. 30, 2013, at her home in Marion following a sudden illness.
