Vinton 11U baseball team finishes third at State Tourney

The 11U Vinton-Shellsburg Vikings brought home 3rd place this past weekend at the USSSA Class A State Championships. The 11U Vikings lost early on Friday but battled back in the 26 team tournament to make the semi-finals.

The 12U Black "A" boys baseball team traveled to Des Moines this past weekend to play in the USSSA Baseball State Tournament.  After a tough loss to Carlisle, the team battled back to tie one and beat 3 and go on to win the Silver Division State Championship.
