State Auditor Rob Sand to visit Vinton May 23
State Auditor Rob Sand will continue his fifth “100 Town Hall” tour with public town hall appearances Tuesday, May 23rd, and Wednesday, May 24th, 2023. As part of his promise to meet Iowans where they are and operate with the transparency and accountability they deserve, Sand will deliver remarks and take questions on the work of the State Auditor’s office and the condition of the state’s finances and governance.

HOMESTEAD CREDIT & EXEMPTION APPLICATION AVAILABLE FOR CLAIMANTS 65+ YEARS
Benton County Residents 65 years and older can now apply for an exemption along with their traditional Homestead credit amount for qualified claimants who own the home they live in and the ground it sits on.The application is available under the Links and Forms portion of the Assessor's website.*PLEASE NOTE THIS FORM IS NOT ON BEACON YET & OUR OFFICE IS RECEIVING AN ABOVE AVERAGE NUMBER OF PHONE CALLS IN REGARDS TO THIS NEW EXEMPTION.
