Handgun Safety Training Class offering In Vinton

A course for Iowans to obtain their Permit to Carry Weapons has been scheduled in the area.  The four hour course covers  handgun safety, gun handling, carry options, situational awareness, interaction with law enforcement, use of force, and state and federal laws.

Healzer nears one-year anniversary at Lifeline therapy office in Vinton

Elise Healzer will soon mark her one-year anniversary at her Lifeline mental health therapy office in Vinton. In September of 2013, she moved into the former Betterton Chirpractic Building on A Avenue.
