This Saturday the extension office is holding a Farm Safety day at the fairgrounds and the always demonstrate how they rescue someone who gets stuck in a grain bin. Wind portfolio increases production 25% over 2021 levels
More than 50% of the energy Alliant Energy’s Iowa utility provided to its customers in 2022 came from renewable energy generation. Alliant Energy, the third-largest owner-operator of regulated wind in the U.S., increased production by 25% from 2021 levels. This increase allowed its Iowa utility to provide a double-digit surge of renewable energy to its customers in 2022, boosting the percentage of renewable energy served to its retail electric customers to 52.
