This week, over 37,000 Iowa high school seniors will receive letters outlining their in-state postsecondary options, application and admissions processes, and financial aid opportunities at Iowa’s two- and four-year colleges and universities Governor Kim Reynolds and the Iowa Department of Education today announced that more than 37,000 high school seniors across the state will soon receive letters in the mail through the state’s new ‘Claim Your Future’ initiative.

The Victim Assistance Section of the Iowa Attorney General’s Office will release three competitive grant opportunities in 2026. On March 16, 2026, eligible nonprofit and governmental organizations that provide victim-centered and trauma-informed victim services in the areas of domestic violence, sexual assault, homicide, and other violent crimes may apply for a competitive victim service grant.
