ORDINANCE #77AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING THE COUNTY SUPERVISOR DISTRICTS AND ELECTION PRECINCTSBE IT ENACTED by the Board of Supervisors of Benton County, Iowa:Section 1. Purpose: The purpose of this ordinance is to establish election precincts and county supervisor districts as the result of the population changes reflected by the 2020 federal decennial census, and in accordance with Iowa Code Sections 331. Recruiting health care professionals to rural Iowa
The Iowa Senate has taken a positive step to help address the workforce crisis that has hit all sectors of our economy. I joined my colleagues to unanimously approve broader incentives to attract more health care professionals to our small towns and rural areas. Provisions in SF 2383 makes changes to three recruitment programs aimed at one of Iowa’s critical workforce shortage fields: 1. Hello District 75 from the State Capitol!

On April 4, 2022, a meeting of the Shellsburg City Council was called to order by Mayor Speckner at 6:00 pm in the Council Chambers. Roll Call was answered by Harvey, Thorkildson, Travis, Vogt, and Reeves. Vogt motioned to approve the consent agenda, second by Reeves. All ayes. Superintendent Robertson reported finding 5 water leaks in the past month and a half.
