GovConnectIowa is now available for Iowa business owners and business tax filers. The Iowa Department of Revenue and other state agencies are modernizing technology and processes to better serve Iowa taxpayers, resulting in this new and secure online portal.In this initial rollout, the Iowa Department of Revenue, the Iowa Lottery Authority, Iowa Department of Inspections and Appeals, and the Iowa Alcoholic Beverages Division partnered to provide enhanced user-friendly tools that are accessible from anywhere, at any time.

NOTICE The Benton County Board of Supervisors is taking applications for various county board and commission appointments for the following year. Benton County appreciates diversity in these appointments and welcomes all applicants at least 18 years of age. Terms and dates of appointments vary and these are unpaid positions. Not all boards are listed and not all have openings at this time, but if you are interested in serving on any board or commission you are encouraged to submit an application.

Benton County Audit Passes with flying colors

Precinct workers from the Bruce/Cedar/Mt. Auburn locations audited election results for Benton County Benton County had its City/School post-election audit last week. The Bruce/Cedar/Mt. Auburn precinct was randomly chosen by the Secretary of State's Office. An audit is routinely performed following each election. The audit is pursuant to Code of Iowa Sec. 50.51,The audit took place in the Auditor's Office at the Benton County Courthouse and was open to the public.
