Suspect arrested following a high speed chase ending in striking SUV
On September 9, 2021 at approximately 09:22 am a Benton County Sheriff’s Deputy responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle in the 7900 block of 16th Ave Dr. south of Luzerne. The Deputy located the vehicle and attempted to initiate a traffic stop with that vehicle. The vehicle did not stop and a vehicle pursuit ensued. Roll call was answered by Blattler, Vogt, Reeves, and Thorkildson. Chapman was absent. Thorkildson motioned to approve the amended agenda. Reeves second. All ayes. Reeves motioned to waive the penalties on the Bright estate with an agreement that the account would be paid tonight along with the additional $30.
