Shellsburg Council Minutes (8-2-21)8-02-2021 a regular meeting of the Shellsburg City Council was called to order by Mayor Speckner at 6:00pm in the Council Chambers. Roll call was answered by Vogt, Reeves, Chapman, and Thorkildson. Blattler was absent. Reeves motioned to approve the consent agenda. Chapman second. All ayes. Thorkildson motioned to close Main Street from Benton to Pearl 8-14-21 from 2:30-4:00pm and 8-28-21 from 2:00-4:00pm for a couple of motorcycle groups coming through, upon Vogt notifying homeowners and checking with the Legion regarding any events.

Notice of Public Hearing: Adoption of Proposed amended soil loss limits

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING A public hearing will be held at 8:30 a.m. on Thursday, August 19, 2021, via Zoom, on the question of the adoption of proposed amended soil loss limit regulations for the lands in the Benton County Soil and Water Conservation District. All persons who are likely to be affected by the amended regulations may attend and will be given an opportunity to present their views concerning the amendments.
