Host Families Needed for Walldog Artists During Sesquicentennial
Upwards of 30 artists from across the country will gather in Vinton during the middle of August as part of the sesquicentennial celebration.
The artists, which are part of a larger group known as the Walldogs, will return to Vinton to give our mural history a fresh coat of paint and add new murals as well. The Walldogs made their initial debut in Vinton in 2000 as part of the “Harvest of Walls” celebration which resulted in the creation of the current eight murals.
