The Summer Reading Program at the Vinton Public Library is on the final stretch of fun and activities at the library. Today's event with bubbles was canceled due to the rain, but the children filled the rooms downstairs with a lot of fun and laughter batting around balloons, beachballs and other shapes filled with air.

Friends of 4H Celebrates 5 Years of Fundraising

Friends of 4H is a fundraising and scholarship committee established by the Benton County Extension Council in 2015. Currently, there are two ways for groups and individuals to donate to Benton County 4H, the Benton County 4H Foundation and the Benton County Friends of 4H.

Vinton Community Band performed at Fross Park in Center Point

The Vinton Community Band played at Fross Park in Center Point on July 13th  preceding the Parks/Recreation Department's free movie. Director Judy Trygstad led the band in pieces of music from “Music Man,” “Oklahoma,” “Indiana Jones,” and other movies.
