Children learned about the weather on Saturday while at the Benton County Nature Center.  The staff entertained the children with a book about weather and had several hands on activities for the children to participate in.

If you drive around the southern part of town you'll see orange flags all over the city right of ways, as well as other flags of yellow and white which are marking all of the underground utilities for the cable company to run the conduit that will house the fiber for iVinton.

Positive Developments in Financing Delay iVinton Rate-Setting

A new and positive development in the financing package for iVinton has resulted in a slight delay in setting prices. According to Tom Richtsmeier, the utility’s General Manager, the board is working hard to provide the best possible value, and doing that requires some re-evaluation of the estimates about initial rates and offerings.
