BENTON COUNTY VETERANS AFFAIRS - November 7th, 2024 7:40 pm

This year instead of our usual appreciation breakfast/dinner, the local Veterans Affairs office will be offering Christmas Baskets. These baskets or bags will have everything in them that a veteran will need to have a Christmas dinner with their family (roughly a family of 6). We are asking for donations to help fill these. Donations needed include your basic sides of corn, green beans, cranberries, potatoes, gravy mix and stuffing.
VINTON PUBLIC LIBRARY - November 7th, 2024 7:38 pm

The Friends of the Vinton Public Library is raising funds to purchase new mobile shelving for our children's library! The shelving will give space for more books and will allow us to make room for even more kids during our programs! Stop into our Reading Room and check out our poster tracking the progress of the fundraiser. So far they've raised $5,000 toward their goal!! The Friends of the Vinton Public Library are a 501(c)3 organization operating under the Vinton Community Foundation.
