The Dysart Development Corporation (DDC) is proud to announce its rebranding as the Dysart Chamber of Commerce, unveiling a new name and updated mission statement to better reflect its expanded role and commitment to the community.

A 50 year old Belle Plaine man was injured on Tuesday morning in a single vehicle accident in Missouri. He was driving a 2015 Kenworth W900 heading north on Interstate 35 at the time.

A second person has been charged in connection with an alleged check forgery operation that spanned multiple communities across eastern Iowa.According to a criminal complaint, 35-year-old Deavin Baker of Georgia, along with several alleged co-conspirators, used stolen bank account information in July 2023 to produce forged checks.
