Wilson J. “Wicky” Chustz Jr., 82, of Kingwood, West Virginia, passed away Saturday, February 12, 2022, at Virginia Gay Nursing and Rehab in Vinton, Iowa.Wilson was born in Erwinville, Louisiana, on May 18, 1939, to the late Wilson J. Chustz Sr. and Mary Lois Chustz.Wilson joined the United States Army after high school and served in the Vietnam War. Sheryl A. Taylor
Sheryl A. Taylor, 71, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, died Sunday, Feb. 13, 2022, at Heritage Nursing and Rehab. Per Sheryl's wishes, there will be a Celebration of Life at a later date. Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service in Cedar Rapids assisted the family.Sheryl was born Aug. 11, 1950, in Cedar Rapids, to John and Agnes (Knight) Moore. Nicole Lynn Forness was born on April 17, 1989, in Waterloo, the daughter of Kaylene Allen Wright and Randy Arbuckle. Nicole attended school in La Porte City and graduated from Union High School in 2007. She worked at VGM, had several different administrative roles in the medical field where she filled her need to take care of others, before becoming a stay at home mom. John Herbert Pitz

Virgil Steve Kozik, 90, of Belle Plaine, IA passed away February 13, 2022 at Belle Plaine Specialty Care.Virgil was born October 25, 1931 to Stephen J and Theresa (Tracy Posekany) Kozik at the family home in rural Benton County, Iowa. He graduated from Belle Plaine High School, class of 1950. Following school, he continued to work alongside his family on the farm.

Corriene Kay Kos, 80, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa passed away February 11, 2022 at Oldorf Hospice House in Hiawatha. Per Corriene’s request there will be no services. Corriene Kay Long was born March 27, 1941 In Vinton, Iowa, the daughter of Carlos and Dorothy (Coots) Long. She was a 1959 Cedar Rapids Washington High graduate. Jeanette Schmitz, 99, of Urbana, passed away peacefully in her sleep Wednesday, February 9, 2022, at her rural Urbana home.Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, February 15, 2022 at St. Mary Catholic Church, Urbana.
