Linda Sanders, 69, of Shellsburg, Iowa, formerly of Atkins, Iowa, died Wednesday, Jan. 26, 2022. A visitation will be held from2 to 5 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 30, at Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Servicein Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Friends may visit with the family on Thursday, January 27, 2022 from 3 to 5:30 p.m., and after 12 p.m. on Friday before the service. Lawrence Gene Mossman, age 71, passed at his home in Blairstown, Iowa on January 25, 2022, with his wife Sandra Sue Mossman by his side.The EMS and Marengo Police Department gentlemen came with Sandra's call for their help. They tried several minutes to revive Lawrence but were unable to do so. Their help and being there was so much appreciated by Sandra and her family, knowing that they tried so hard to revive him.

Dr. James K. Sheronick, 71, formerly of Van Horne and Iowa City, passed away Friday, Jan. 21, 2022, surrounded by family. A private family graveside service will be held at Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery.James was born Sept. 20, 1950, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, the son of Sine and Mariam (Chehedi) Sheronick. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, January 26, 2022 at St. John’s Catholic Church in Blairstown, with Rev. Craig Steimel as Celebrant. Derek Dean Anderson, age 43, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, went home to be with the Lord Jesus in heaven on January 20, 2022. While we deeply mourn the unexpected loss of such a beloved grandson, son, brother, uncle, and friend; we also rejoice in the absolute assurance of a future blessed reunion, which is promised to all who, like Derek, have trusted in the sacrifice of Jesus for the forgiveness of sins and eternal life (John 3:16; 6:35-40; 14:1-6; Ephesians 2:8-9).
