Bonnie Lou Bohnenkamp-Rommann, age 88, passed away on June 30, 2022. She was born in Iowa on July 16, 1933 to the late Grant and Ruth (Graham) Hull Her parents had traveled by covered wagon to Howard, CO. where she attended a one room school house. At some point she returned to Vinton, IA and graduated High School there. She married her first husband Richard D. James (Jim) Paul Kullm
James (Jim) Paul Kullmer was born on January 23, 1935 to Keith Sr. & Mildred Weaver Kullmer on the Weaver farm outside of Traer in Tama County. He was promoted to his heavenly home at the age of 87, after a brief illness July 8, 2022, at Sunrise Assisted Living in Traer.He attended Geneseo School for several years, until the family moved to La Porte City during his grade school years. Lylas Elizabeth Witt Sindt, age 102, left this life on Saturday, July 9, 2022 at the Keystone Nursing Care Center. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM, Wednesday, July 13, 2022 at St. John Lutheran Church in Keystone, with Rev. B. Andrew Wright officiating. Interment will be held at the Keystone Cemetery. Duane Dale Alpers of Windsor Heights, IA passed away peacefully Tuesday, July 5th, with his wife by his side, at Mercy One Hospice Care in Johnston, IA. Duane was born on December 21st, 1948 to Dale and Zella (Hurst) Alpers in Vinton, IA. He was a devoted and loving husband, father, and grandfather. Beverly Lavonne Tyler Johansen, 91, of Van Horne, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on July 4, 2022, at the Keystone Care Center. Services will be at the United Methodist Church in Van Horne on Friday July 22.
