Nadine Jean Weed
Nadine Jean Weed, 93, of Louisville, Ky., formerly of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, passed away on Dec. 27, 2021, at her home. A visitation will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 25, 2022, at the Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home. A graveside service will follow the visitation and begin at 11 a.m. that will honor the life of Nadine and her son Brian Weed, who passed away in 2016.
Morris "Butch" W. Dodd, Jr.
Morris "Butch" W. Dodd, Jr., 73, of Garrison, formerly of La Porte City, died Thursday, January 20, 2022, at MercyOne Waterloo Medical Center. He was born July 31, 1948, in Raymondville, TX, the son of Morris Woodman and Elizabeth Land Dodd, Sr. He was a 1967 graduate of Lyford High School. On June 14, 1969, he married Penny Appleton in La Porte City.
Jeffrey Allen Blank
Jeffrey Allen Blank of Cedar Falls, Iowa passed away at home January 11, 2022 of cancer. Jeffrey was born in Watertown, Wisconsin on April 12, 1955 to Lorraine and Wilbert Blank. Jeff grew up on a dairy farm outside of Ixonia, Wisconsin. Jeff is survived by his sister, Barbara (Rob) Parkhurst of Cedar Park, Texas ; twin brothers Dan (Carla) Blank of Chatham, Illinois, and Dave (Kay) Blank of Ixonia, Wisconsin and many nieces and nephews, all of whom were precious to Jeff.
Christopher Robin Lynch
Christopher Robin Lynch was born on April 21, 1966, in Ottumwa, Iowa to Mike and Judy Lynch. He passed away on January 20, 2022 in Pella, Iowa, surrounded by family and friends who loved him dearly.A graduate of Ottumwa High School’s Class of ‘84, Chris enrolled at Iowa State University in the ROTC (Reserve Officer Training Corps). Upon graduating with honors with a Bachelor Degree in History, he was commissioned as a 2nd Lieutenant in the United States Army.

Cheryl Jeanne Raines Frese, 74, formerly of Watkins, beloved and best friend of Donald H. Frese passed away at her home in Fairfax on Friday, January 21, 2022 surrounded by her loving family. Wilfred Dean Suchy
Wilfred Dean Suchy was born June 28, 1936 in Belle Plaine, Iowa to Milo and Alice (Viktora) Suchy. He was the second of six children, two brothers and three sisters. He grew up near Elberon on the family farm working alongside his parents and siblings.Wilfred attended a one room schoolhouse near their home where his mother taught for part of his school years.
Larry W. Lutz
Larry W. Lutz, 83, formerly of Van Horne and Guttenberg, passed away Jan. 16, 2022. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 22, at St. Cecilia Catholic Church, 2900 Hoover Ave., Ames, Iowa. Visitation will be held for one hour prior to the Mass at the church. The Mass will be livestreamed and a link will be available on the Tribute Wall of Larry's obituary on the Adams Funeral Home website.

Harley Keith Noe, 88, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, passed away Monday, Jan. 17, 2022, at UnityPoint Transitional Center in Hiawatha, Iowa. Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. followed by the funeral service at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 22, at Zion Lutheran Church, Hiawatha. Burial with military honors: Garrison Cemetery, Garrison, Iowa. June Ella Mae (Koehn) Eckhart, age 93, passed away on Saturday, January 15, 2022, at English Valley Care Center in North English, where she had been a resident since 2012.Funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM, Friday, January 21, 2022 at Salem United Methodist Church in Van Horne. Interment will be held at Salem Cemetery, rural Van Horne. Visitation will be held from 9:30 AM until service time at the church.

Judith “Judy” (Atwood) Reedy, age 65, passed away on Tuesday, January 11, 2022, at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City. No public funeral services are planned at this time. Judy was born, on June 17, 1956 in Cedar Rapids, the daughter of Jerry and Jean (Moneypenny) Atwood. She graduated from Cedar Rapids Jefferson High School in 1974.
