June Ella Mae (Koehn) Eckhart, age 93, passed away on Saturday, January 15, 2022, at English Valley Care Center in North English, where she had been a resident since 2012.Funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM, Friday, January 21, 2022 at Salem United Methodist Church in Van Horne. Judith “Judy” (Atwood) Reedy, age 65, passed away on Tuesday, January 11, 2022, at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City. No public funeral services are planned at this time. Doris A. Holliday, of Midlothian, Va., passed away peacefully on December 30, 2021. Born in Cedar Rapids, Iowa in 1929, Doris was the third of four daughters of Warren and Ethel Pangborn. Growing up on a century-family farm in Shellsburg, Iowa, Doris graduated from Shellsburg High School in 1946 and then Iowa State University in 1950, majoring in Home Economics.

Virgil Ray Marek, 73, formerly of Belle Plaine, Iowa, passed away on Friday, January 7, 2022 in Georgia. Mr. Marek was a native of Cedar Rapids, Iowa and had lived in Macon for 10 years before moving to Lake Sinclair 5 years ago. He was the son of the late Albert and Anna J.
