Lawrence "Larry" J. Burke, 82, of Walker, Iowa, passed away peacefully Wednesday, March 11, 2020, at his home. The family will greet friends from 9 to 11 a.m. Monday, March 16, 2020, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Walker. A Memorial Mass will follow at 11 a.m. at the church. Burial: Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery, Walker. Arrangements were made by Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Center Point, Iowa.

Jennifer Sue Ferguson, age 48, passed away Friday, March 13, 2020 following a traffic accident in Johnson County.Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, March 17, 2020 at the Phillips Funeral Home (212 E. 6th Street) in Vinton with Rev. Brian Channel officiating.  Interment will be held at Cox Cemetery near Urbana.  Friends may call from 9:00 until 11:00 AM on Tuesday at the funeral home.

Karen Kay Hamilton, 63, of Keystone, Iowa formerly of LaSalle, IL passed away suddenly at her home March 11, 2020.Karen was born July 17, 1956 in LaSalle, IL, the daughter of Stanley and Dorothy ( Wieczorek) Lenski. She graduated from LaSalle High School in LaSalle, IL. March 18, 1991 Karen married Jeffrey Hamilton, together they raised their family in LaSalle.

Brittany (December 3, 1988 - March 4, 2020) passed away peacefully at UIHC with family by her side.  She was preceded in death by her brother Brandon and is survived by mother Kim McCullough, sisters  Breezie Sellers, Kailee and Hannah, brother Trent, daughter Kora and son Jasper. Brittany was an aspiring chef and was in school to fulfill her dream of opening a restaurant to honor her late brother, Brandon.

Shirley Lavon Glasbrenner, 86, died Saturday, March 7, 2020 at Winslow House Care Center in Marion following an extended illness.     Funeral Services will be held at 10 AM, Thursday, March 12, 2020 at Phillips Funeral Home Chapel, 212 E. 6th St in Vinton. Visitation will be held from 5 -7 p.m. on Wednesday at the Funeral Home.

Fred Jason Hahn, 40, of Atkins, IA passed away unexpectedly, Saturday, March 7, 2020 at Mercy Medical Center, Cedar Rapids, IA.Jason was born January 3rd, 1980 in Cedar Rapids, IA to Fred R. Hahn and Cynthia (Wolter) Broadwater. He graduated from Solon High School in 1998 and attended Iowa State University. Following school, he worked a few odd jobs prior to joining his father at Hahn Clock Repair.

Mae E. Kaestner, age 89, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 4, 2020.Funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM, Tuesday, March 10, 2020 at St. John Lutheran Church in Newhall with Rev. Steven Rempfer officiating.  Interment will be held at St. Stephen’s Cemetery near Atkins .  Friends may call from 3:00 until 7:00 PM on Monday at the church in Newhall.

Craig “Skitz” Douglas Kimm passed peacefully from the arms of his loving family into the arms of his loving mother on Saturday, March 7, 2020.  He was 60 years old. Through all of his health issues he never complained or asked “why me” because he was strong in faith and felt safe with Jesus. He cherished his family, wife Jeanette (Dunning) Kimm; sons Andrew Kimm and Reece (Jessica Niebes) Kimm; father Douglas (Mardene) Kimm, sisters Cindy (Jim) Stoddard, Cheryl (Jeff) Housman, and brother Brian “Opie” (Cindy) Kimm; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Terry L. Dunham, age 76, passed away on Friday, March 6, 2020 at his home in Urbana.Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, March 11, 2020 at the Phillips Funeral Home Chapel (212 E. 6th Street) in Vinton with Rev.
