Kelly, age 94, passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 18, 2020 at Hospice of Mercy in Hiawatha.Private family Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Van Horne with Rev. Dora Mae Vogt, 90, died Saturday, October 17, 2020, at St. Luke’s Inpatient Hospice in Cedar Rapids.Private family graveside services will be held at the Urbana Cemetery.Dora was born December 29, 1929, to Lloyd and Mathilda (Donley) Downing in rural Center Point. Larry Vernon Walker, 84, passed away on Saturday, September 26. 2020 at St. Luke’s Hospice in Cedar Rapids.A celebration of Larry’s life will be held on Sunday, October 25, 2020, from 2:00 until 4:00 PM at the Prairie Creek Church North of Vinton.Larry was born on April 6, 1936, the son of Paul and Rhoda (De Vault) Walker in Rhodes, Iowa. Michael Joseph Peddicord, 42, of Springfield, MO., passed away from a sudden illness on October 8, 2020. Michael was born on July 21, 1978, to Charles and Catherine Peddicord in Cedar Rapids, IA. Michael learned the ropes running around Keystone with his siblings Cris, Daniel and Patrick. Michael attended high school and played football at Benton Community and later Buena Vista University. Carl Eldred Schnebbe, 82, of Belle Plaine, passed away October 13, 2020 at Belle Plaine Specialty Care.Carl was born August 26, 1938 to Arnold and Esther (Huedepohl) Schnebbe at home in Conroy. He graduated from Conroy High School in 1956. Following school, Carl enlisted in the U.S. Navy. He returned home from service to farm with his family. Carl married Lynda Swindle March 4, 1967 at Silver Creek United Methodist Church, Masonville, IA. Nancy Baker
Nancy Baker was born August 4, 1942 in Waterloo; the daughter of Robert and Hazelle (Zimmer) Waller. She married Richard Baker October 9, 1960 in Dysart, IA. Nancy belonged to the La Maison Women’s Club in Dysart, Garden Club, Stuffed Peppers Day Card Club and was a Jayceette. She enjoyed flowers, shopping and pumpkins in the fall. Nancy was well known for her Kuchen and love of baking.
