Addamae Erma Yarbrough, 85, of Urbana, Iowa, passed away Sunday, Oct. 25, 2020, at the St. Luke's Hospice Unit in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, after a short illness. Rosalie Helen Henry, age 82, of Amana, passed away Sunday, October 25, 2020, at Colonial Manor of Amana, following a long battle with Alzheimer’s. A private family service will be held. As per Rosalie’s wishes, she will be cremated. Judith Ann Garbers, 79, passed away at Mercy Hospital surrounded by nurses and doctors who cared for on October 22, 2020, after a brief illness. A private memorial mass will be held at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Van Horne on Wednesday, October 28 with Father Craig Steimel officiating. Gene La Rue Healy passed away suddenly Oct. 18, 2020. He was born March 23, 1945 to Glenn and Dorothy (Evans) Healy. He was the youngest of five siblings. He was born and raised in Vinton, Iowa where he graduated from high school in 1963. He earned his BA in teaching from the University of Northern Iowa in 1968 and attended the University of Northern Colorado where he completed his MA with dual degrees in the area of the Visually Impaired and Mobility and Orientation. Dora Mae Vogt, 90, died Saturday, October 17, 2020, at St. Luke’s Inpatient Hospice in Cedar Rapids.Private family graveside services will be held at the Urbana Cemetery.Dora was born December 29, 1929, to Lloyd and Mathilda (Donley) Downing in rural Center Point. Larry Vernon Walker, 84, passed away on Saturday, September 26. 2020 at St. Luke’s Hospice in Cedar Rapids.A celebration of Larry’s life will be held on Sunday, October 25, 2020, from 2:00 until 4:00 PM at the Prairie Creek Church North of Vinton.Larry was born on April 6, 1936, the son of Paul and Rhoda (De Vault) Walker in Rhodes, Iowa. He graduated from Lincoln High School in Vinton with the class of 1954.
