Jackie Lee Kimm was born on November 15, 1935 in Blairstown, Iowa and died in Frostburg, Maryland on June 25, 2024.He enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps, San Diego in 1953 and was honorably discharged July 2, 1956. He was honored for being a member of The American Legion for 60 years. He was an Auto Body Mechanic for 50 years.Jack is survived by his second wife Katherine Kimm, stepdaughter Sheila K.

Perry Kyle Hummel

Perry Kyle Hummel (88), a life-long Vinton resident passed away peacefully on June 24, 2024.Kyle was born to Perry Joseph and Mary (Paisley) Hummel in Woodbury County, Iowa on July 23, 1935, as the seventh child of nine. With a twinkle in his eye, he would say: “You know… I AM the son of Joseph and Mary…” His humor and his relationship with the Church and Jesus were things he liberally shared with his family throughout his life.
