Funeral Services will be held 11 AM, Monday, March 18, 2013 at Blessed Hope Church in Vinton with Pastor Jim Blair officiating. Kody E. Corum, 19, of Palo, a 2012 graduate of Vinton-Shellsburg High School, died Thursday March 7, 2013 in Cedar Rapids.
Services will take place at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Cedar Memorial Park Chapel of Memories in Cedar Rapids. Rev. Mark Leckband will officiate. PALO: Dawn Marie (Ham) Railsback, 44, of Palo passed away peacefully on March 8, 2013 at the Dennis and Donna Oldorf Hospice House of Mercy in Hiawatha following a courageous battle with cancer.

VINTON – Scott Arthur Boots, 51, of Vinton, died unexpectedly at his home on Wednesday, March 6, 2013.
A Celebration of Scott’s Life will be held at 4 p.m. Monday, March 11, 2013, at the U.S. Bank Building, 414 A Avenue, Vinton. Rev. William Harnish will officiate. Following the service, family will receive friends until 7 p.m. His body has been cremated, and graveside committal services will be held at Oakwood Cemetery in Shellsburg at a later date. Lola was born April 25, 1920, on a farm in rural Garrison, the daughter of Merton and Amanda Wood Allen.
