MARENGO: Mary Jane Schulte, 90 of Marengo died Thursday, May 31, 2012 at Rosehaven Nursing Home in Marengo following an extended illness.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m., Tuesday, June 5, 2012 St. Patrick Catholic Church in Watkins with Father Brian Dellaert as Celebrant. Public Visitation will also be held at the church in Watkins from 4 to 7 PM on Monday, where a Rosary Service will be held at 7 PM. Darlene Hilton

Joel Francis Meek, 72, of Buckingham was born to Howard and Eunice (Glendy) Meek in rural Tama County on July 13, 1939.
Joel and Janet Hagge were married at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Tama on March 23, 1958. He was employed as a production machine operator for John Deere for 31 years before retiring.
Joel spent his free time enjoying the outdoors; hunting and fishing.
