Editor: I served as a USAF Captain during the Vietnam era; we called it SEA (Southeast Asia Theater).  I did not serve permanent party my main duty was Nuclear Alert (SAC) Strategic Air Command; I was a Squadron Copilot on KC-135 Boeing Stratotanker aircraft I was only there Temporary duty a short time.

Supposedly wind took out some of our Scarecrows, at least that's what one of them told me. But another of them said that the food was great, but the party was even better.
