LSI Respite Care receives national Innovative and Exemplary service award
Lutheran Services in Iowa (LSI) was recently recognized as an Innovative and Exemplary respite service by the ARCH National Respite Network and Resource Center. LSI is one of four recipients of this recognition this year.LSI's Respite Care program provides personalized, temporary support for children and adults with disabilities across Iowa, allowing their caregivers time to take care of themselves.

Independence Day celebrations often include parties, grilling, fireworks, swimming, and boating. When the sun goes down, magnificent fireworks displays can be seen for miles. Naig: ‘Farmers can use state cost share funds to add soil health & water quality
Iowa Secretary of Agriculture Mike Naig announced that farmers and landowners can sign up now for state cost share funds to help adopt soil health and water quality practices. The funding can be used for in-field management practices, including planting cover crops, transitioning acres to no-till/strip-till soil management, or applying a nitrification inhibitor.
