Theisen’s announces recipients of annual “More for Your Community” recipients
Theisen’s Home-Farm-Auto stores announced the recipients of their annual “More for Your Community” corporate giving grant program. The Dubuque, Iowa-based company will award nearly $350,000 in grant funds to 223 different non-profits in the 23 communities where stores are located in, eastern Iowa and southwest Wisconsin.In the Vinton area, nine non-profits will receive a total of $10,000.

Anyone who has a cell phone is welcome to sign-up their phone number with either Linda or Rachel. If you are scheduled for home delivered meals, we will try to call you to let you know meals are cancelled unless you have a cell phone-you will be sent a text alert.

After months of discussions, Congressional leaders have agreed to another bipartisan COVID-19 stimulus package. Members of Congress are [st] to vote Monday afternoon on a roughly $900 billion relief bill. The Trump Administration has also indicated support. While details are still being released, we have confirmed the bill includes additional small business relief, clarification on expense deductibility, unemployment insurance, direct payments to individuals, and funding for education and vaccine distribution.
