See You at the Pole™, the global day of student prayer, began in 1990 as a grass roots movement with ten students praying at their school. Twenty years later, millions pray on their campuses on the fourth Wednesday in September.

If you were out and about town today around 1:00 p.m., you know that roads were just about impassable due to the heavy rainfall we received. From 218, through to the downtown area, roads were flooded due to the downpour.

Kelly Marie Loveless, 69, of Center Point, Iowa, went home to be with the Lord Sept. 22, 2018, after a lengthy battle with hydrocephalus and dementia. She was surrounded in her home by her husband of 51 years, Ronald Robert Loveless, and her daughters, Rachel Marie Saunders and Robin Marie Morgan.

Flooding again: Still minor, short-lived
