—Mary Jean Johannsen, 86, died peacefully Tuesday, March 8, 2022 at Sunnycrest Nursing Center in Dysart.Memorial services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, March 12, 2022 at Van Steenhuyse-Teahen Funeral Home in Vinton. Inurnment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery, Vinton.Mary was born October 15, 1935 at New Hampton, Iowa, the daughter of Clarence and Helen (Hite) Booth.

Kenneth Ray Hook, age 90, of Ames, Iowa, passed away Wednesday, March 2, 2022, at the Israel Family Hospice House in Ames.A public visitation will be held Sunday, March 6, 2022, from 2:00 to 4:00 P.M. at the Adams Funeral Home, 502 Douglas Avenue, Ames. Kevin “Jon” Moritz, of Hazleton, passed away Friday morning, Feb 18, under the care of Hospice at Unity Point Hospital in Waterloo.Jon was born Oct 5, 1955, in Oelwein, the son of Roy H Moritz and Patricia Rohrick. Letae Ann (Pruisman) Luciano, 50, of Crystal River, Fla., formerly of Solon and Cedar Rapids, Iowa, passed away at her home on Feb. 9, 2022, in Crystal River, Fla. She was born on Oct. 12, 1971, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, the daughter of Richard and Julie Pruisman. She attended college community schools and participated gymnastics and band. Clarence "Lloyd" Hager, 90, of Cedar Falls/La Porte City, died Wednesday, March 2, 2022, at Western Home Communities - Deery Suites.He was born November 25, 1931, in Waterloo, Iowa, the son of Clarence and Eunice (Elwell) Hager. He graduated from La Porte City High School in 1949. On August 19, 1955, he married Norma Bakker in Grundy Center. Lloyd farmed and owned Hager Insurance in La Porte City. Joseph Edward Stablein

Phyllis Mae Schrader was born on April 9, 1926, in Cedar Rapids, the daughter of Paul and Ella (Steuber) Floyd. Phyllis attended Edgewood Country School near Cedar Rapids. On April 19, 1954, she was united in marriage to Arthur Schrader at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Cedar Rapids. The couple made their home in Norway, Iowa for a year before moving to Dysart, where they lived for more than 60 years. Darwin Ray Oehlerich
Darwin Oehlerich passed away on February 23,2022 at the Keystone Care Center after courageously living with Parkinson's disease. He was surrounded by his wife and family as they shared their love with him. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM, Tuesday, March 1, 2022 at St. John Lutheran Church in Keystone, with Rev. B. Andrew Wright officiating.
