Constance Lee Turner, 89, of Cedar Rapids, passed away peacefully at Keystone Nursing Care Center in Keystone. A visitation will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday, July 23, at Cedar Memorial Chapel of Memories. A funeral service will follow the visitation starting at 1 p.m. at the Chapel. Burial will follow at Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery.Constance was born March 17, 1932, to John and Myrna (Brown) Scholeman in Cedar Rapids.

Carol Carlyle, 79, died peacefully at home Saturday, July 17, 2021, following a battle with cancer.A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 28, 2021, at the Calvary Baptist Church in Dysart with Pastor Daniel Hartwig officiating. Visitation will be from 9:30 until service time at the church on Wednesday. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery in Vinton.
Mary Kathryn Schellhase
Mary Kathryn Schellhase was born on November 19, 1944, in Vinton, the daughter of Leo and Gladys (Tyler) Donnelly. Mary graduated from Garrison High School in 1963, where she was a member of 3 state-qualifying basketball teams. She then attended AIB in Des Moines. On June 11, 1966, Mary was united in marriage to Don Schellhase at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Vinton.

Vinton--Norval Richard Staton, 88, died peacefully at home with his family by his side on Sunday, July 18, 2021 following a short illness.Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, July 23, at the First Christian Church, 1209 West 13th St in Vinton. A Celebration of Life will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, July 24, at the First Christian Church in Vinton.

Bette Lynn Kratoska, 61, of Chelsea, IA passed suddenly away July 3, 2021 at the University of Iowa Hospital, Iowa City. IABette was born Aug. 10, 1959 in Waterloo, IA to Donald and Mary (Park) Van Scoyoc.
