Charlys Jay “Chuck” Moody, 86, passed away on Friday, December 18, 2020 at Belle Plaine Specialty Care.Private Graveside Services will be held at the Garrison Cemetery.Charlys was born on August 18, 1934 in Kalona, Iowa, the son of Ralph and Gladys (Troxel) Moody Sr. Following High School, he served his country in the United States Marine Corps, during the Korean War. James Leo “Jimbo” Schutzman, 82, passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 12, 2020 at home in Shellsburg, surrounded by loved ones.Visitation will be held from 11:00 AM until Noon, on Friday, February 12, 2021 at Oak Grove Christian Church in Shellsburg. Dorothy Jean Becker, 89, of Belle Plaine passed away on Sunday, December 20th, 2020, at Belle Plaine Specialty Care. Dorothy was born on September 14th, 1931, in Joplin, Missouri, the daughter of Lee and Mae Thompson. Her family later moved to Iowa, where she graduated from Newhall High School. On November 15th, 1950, Dorothy married Wilbert Becker; the couple had eight children and lived on a dairy farm near Watkins, Iowa. Walter "Wally" Dunham Sackett
Walter "Wally" Dunham Sackett, 71, of Newhall, Iowa, passed-away following a brief illness, with his wife and children by his side, on Monday, Dec. 14, 2020, at St. Luke's Hospital in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Wally was born to Willis and Dorothy (Dunkel) Sackett on May 7, 1949, in Urbana, Iowa, and was later raised on the Sackett farm located in Walker, Iowa. Roxann V. Arnold
Roxann V. Arnold, 63, of Belle Plaine, Iowa, passed away Sunday, Dec. 13, 2020, at Belle Plaine Specialty Care in Belle Plaine. Per her wishes, cremation has taken place. A celebration of Roxann's life will be held at a later date.
