Lorna Anna Johanna (Lorenz) Rieck, 93, of Luzerne passed away peacefully at the Vinton Lutheran Home on February 17, 2021 after a brief illness. A celebration of Lorna’s life will be held at a later date. Lorna was born May 10, 1927 in Williamsburg, Iowa to Arnold & Emma (Huedepohl) Lorenz. S. Fossum, 74, of Goffstown, New Hampshire passed away February 7th
in the comfort of his home after a long courageous battle with
multiple myeloma.
He
was born November 20, 1946 in Cedar Falls, Iowa to Julia (Spickler)
and Ernest Fossum. He graduated from Iowa State Teachers College High

Lenora Burry, 87, entered into the gates of heaven Saturday, February 13, 2021, at Ravenwood Specialty Care Center in Waterloo.Funeral services will be at noon on Saturday, February 20, 2021 at Van Steenhuyse-Russell Funeral Home in Vinton with Pastor Matt Hantz officiating. Easton Richard Lindeman, at the age of 3, passed away on Monday, February 8, 2021 at University of Iowa Stead Family Children’s Hospital following a year-long battle with cancer. Betty Ann (Fahnle) McKechnie, 91, of Atkins, IA passed away peacefully in Cedar Rapids, IA on February 6, 2021. She endured Parkinson’s for years with grace and never a complaint. Merle Francis Roths, 97, passed away peacefully Monday, February 8, 2021, at the Vinton Lutheran Home.Graveside services will be held at Evergreen Cemetery in Vinton at a later date.Merle was born January 8, 1924, in rural Ionia, Iowa, the son of Alfred M. and Caroline E. Kathy Rae Walton, 65, passed away unexpectedly, in her home, on Saturday, February 6, 2021. Kathy was born December 14, 1955 in San Diego, CA, the daughter of Raymond and Hazel (Becker) Walton. She graduated from Benton Community High School with the class of 1973. On January 6, 1997 she was united in marriage to Mike Cohrt in Cedar Rapids. Shirley Miller
