VINTON – Harleen Jiles Harper Waldorf, 92, died peacefully at the Vinton Lutheran Home Wednesday, February 26, 2014.

Vinton—Margaret L. Henry, 90, died peacefully February 20, 2014 at Virginia Gay Nursing and Rehab with her family at her side. Private family services will be held at a later date.
Margaret was born December 2, 1923, in Rowley, Iowa, the daughter of Harvey and Maggie Gabbott Burroughs. She was raised in the Mt. Auburn/Vinton area and graduated from Lincoln High School in Vinton. Kevin John Becker
NEWHALL: Kevin John Becker, 55, of Madison, WI and formerly of Newhall, died at University Hospital in Madison following a sudden illness.
Private Family Services will be held.
Kevin was born February 14, 1959 in Cedar Rapids to Dean and Beulah "Bea" (Chambers) Becker and graduated from Benton Community High School in 1978.

VINTON – Sharon Beth Weiss, 74, died at her home Tuesday, February 18, 2014, surrounded by her family following a lengthy illness.

BLAIRSTOWN: Dean R. Nieland, 87 of Blairstown died Saturday, February 15, 2014 at Virginia Gay Hospital in Vinton following a sudden illness. Private family funeral services will be held. Interment will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Blairstown at a later date. Phillips Funeral Home in Blairstown is in charge of arrangements.

Kenneth Frank Wilson, 84, of Mesa, AZ passed away peacefully at home February 6, 2014.
He was born March 5, 1929 to Clarence and Eliza Wilson, near LaPorte City. He graduated from Wilson High School in Cedar Rapids.
He married Bernadette Smith on August 12, 1951 in Vinton. Survivors include his wife, daughters, Susan (Arch), Peggy (Tim), sister Murldene Harmon,Vinton, brother Wayne (Sally), Denver, IA, granddaughters Rachael, and Kristen, and numerous nieces and nephews. Norma Enge Louise Garbers

Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, February 20, 2014 at St. Andrew’s Lutheran Church in Van Horne with Pastor David Lingard officiating. Interment will be held at the Keystone Cemetery near Keystone.
