ATKINS: Margaret L. Tow Rinderknecht, 96, died Wednesday, December 31, 2014 at Ed and Joan Hemphill St. Luke's Hospice in Cedar Rapids following an extended illness.

BLAIRSTOWN: Marjorie Rose (Lewis) Nieland, 83 of Blairstown and Belle Plaine, died on Tuesday, December 30, 2014 at the Belle Plaine Nursing and Rehab Center in Belle Plaine. Marjorie died of a broken heart after the passing of her husband, Dean R. Nieland on February 15, 2014.
Dean was cremated and Marjorie will join him in a double urn to be “Together Forever”. John L. Geater

SHELLSBURG: Theresa Margaret Kuntz, 93, formerly of Minot, passed away Monday, December 22, 2014, at the Rockridge Care Center, Shellsburg, Iowa.
Theresa was born on February 14, 1921, the daughter of Mike and Katherine (Weninger) Pfeifer. She was united in marriage to Joseph Kuntz on November 21, 1939, at Blumenfeld Church, rural Orrin, ND. Carl L. Spilman
VAN HORNE: Carl L. Spilman, Jr., 79, died Sunday, December 21, 1014 at the Keystone Nursing Care Center in Keystone following an extended illness.
A Celebration Of Life will be held from 2 – 5 PM, Saturday, January 3. 2014 at Porky’s on J Street SW in Cedar Rapids.
In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established.
