VINTON - David Charles Hite, age 77, of Vinton, passed away peacefully on December 21, 2014, at Virginia Gay Nursing and Rehab in Vinton from complications of multiple sclerosis and Parkinson's disease. Dave had been a resident at VGNR since May of 2007.

Barbara K. “Barb” Woodhouse, 68, Rockford, passed away Thursday, December 18, 2014, in her home. She was born November 22, 1946, in Iowa City, Iowa, the daughter of Robert and Marguerite (Delaney) Jess. Barb was a National Merit Scholar and was the Salutatorian of her high school class, second only to her best friend, Michele Telford of Rock Rapids, Iowa.

Nerme M. Stainbrook, 88, of Independence, Iowa and formerly of Brandon, Iowa entered into the glory of God on December 4, 2014 at her home in Independence, Iowa surrounded by her loved ones.
Nerme was born on November 28, 1926 in Shady Grove, Iowa the daughter of Ralph E. and Mae A. (Hilton) Wright. She was a 1944 graduate of the Brandon High School and was united in marriage to Everette W.
